The Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games is a vibrant annual celebration of Scottish culture.
This family-friendly event invites visitors of all ages to experience the rich traditions of Scotland through a full day of music, dance, athletic competitions, and cultural education. The fair runs rain or shine and is known for its warm community atmosphere and immersive heritage experiences.
Highlights include live Celtic music, thrilling bagpipe and drum performances, and the iconic Heavy Games—featuring traditional feats like the caber toss and stone put. Guests can enjoy spirited Highland and country dancing, explore Clan Row to learn about family lineages, and browse the Scottish Marketplace for unique crafts and goods. Additional attractions include a classic British car show, a lively Pub tent with live music, and a variety of food trucks offering both Scottish and international fare. Children are especially welcome, with dedicated activities like crafts, storytelling, and pint-sized versions of traditional games.
Mission
The Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games (MSFHG) is a 501(c)3 organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, to promote and preserve Scottish traditions, and heritage through education, competitions, and public display.
